Charts
This video is made to look like a TV show and is fun and entertaining to watch. It is a good video to use when introducing the theory of charts to your students. The video shows the different types of charts and why they are important to use. i think that because it is fun to watch, the students will really understand what charts are and have an idea what charts are used for.

WebQuest
For my webqust my subject was on climate change. This subject important for elementary students start learning about because it is such a large concern in our society today. The first website that I used was called "climate change," and the second website that i used was called "Eco Kids", which is a website full of activities and games that have to do with learning about wildlife, climate change, Energy, the North, water, waste, and land use issues.
1) http://www.climateclassroomkids.org
The website "Climate Change" has so many opportunities to play online games that get the students interested in the subject that they are learning about. For my webquest assignment I wanted the students to create a poster from information off of the "climate change" section off of the first page. After creating a poster I wanted the students to write a summary of what they learned and do a presentation for the class. This gave students the opportunity to work in groups and also learn how to summarize information from the web and present it.

This website called "Eco Kids" is another fun and exciting website that has many options to work with the subject of climate change. On this site I had students play the educational games that are offered and then gave them the opportunity to gain extra credit by taking the quizzes online. I was not grading on whether they got the answers correct but I graded on whether or not they could gain enough information to write a summary. If the students were doing the extra credit they needed to write down the answers that they got wrong and then write down the correct answers so they could try to understand why they got those answers wrong.
I know I only have 2 websites, but i feel like they both offer so much educational and fun learning that it is the perfect amount of websites. This class activity is for 4th graders and I think doing these assignments are a great opportunity for students to learn how to work online and gain information from the web.

Scavenger Hunt
The scavenger hunt collection that I used had to do with the forests. I developed a set of questions for the students to answer based off of the pictures that I posted onto the program "inspiration." The link below is the website that I used my pictures from. All of my pictures are from this website, there are many pages of pictures; I chose pictures that had to do with the topics fungi, fires, eroding hills, and logging. The picture above shows the border of a forest and prairie and what the differences look like.
This is an example of what the photographs looked like, they showed an example of something that had to do with forest education. Below is an example this picture shows fungi on a tree:
